What do the part condition codes mean?
NE/NS is new; OH is overhauled to manufacturer limits with paperwork; SV is serviceable (inspected and tagged); AR is as-removed, sold without inspection; FR is for repair. Overhauled and serviceable parts should come with a release certificate.
Can I install a used part on a certified aircraft?
Only with the appropriate release documentation (EASA Form 1, FAA 8130-3 or equivalent) and approval from your maintenance organisation. Parts without paperwork are usually only usable on experimental or non-certified aircraft.
